Here's something interesting I read from an article the other day..how true is that? Mmm, when one sits down and meticulously read through some articles, you'll never realize actually there are so many things that are insignificant, but actually be some interesting topics to be written on.
TO BE fair, compliments from men still have the instant, inimitable power to put more spine in my posture and glow to my face.
But, come on, complimenting is what men do. And a lot of times, they do it indiscriminately.
Send any lithe young thing sashaying down their way on a pair of high heels and it'll set off at least an internal wolf-whistle or two.
And what's this thing that they have for low-brow, high-silicone creatures like Pamela Anderson? Tsk.
Women, on the other hand, exist on an entirely different plane when it comes to judging female physical beauty. In other words, we have higher standards.
For example, consider what it takes for a woman dressed for a night out to look good to men, and what it takes for her to look good to herself.
As long as men see neat hair, lipstick, curves and some leg, she looks good. If there's cleavage, she's gorgeous.
But for the woman?
The hair, for starters, has several functions. It must look glossy. It must feel soft. It must de-contour the fat cheeks and broad forehead. It must hide that zit. And it must fall across one eyebrow sexily. At all times.
Then the makeup. It must enhance your features, hide the flaws, go with the outfit and reflect your personality.
The outfit must rein in the tummy, hoist the overhanging butt, conceal the flabby arms but flaunt at least the collar bone.
And finally, the shoes. Anything below $150 just will not do.
