Study in Malacca and complete degree in india

Is there any scholarship for spm leavers where one need to go Malacca and study then go india next to complete the degree of becoming a doctor?My grandma keep telling me that her friend's grandson get that scholarship to do pre-u medic i suppose and will be leaving to malacca on the 5th of May and he check the status through the Net.Then,my grandma also keep asking me to check whether i get or not,but the problem is i didnt apply for that kind of scholarship and she said that guy can get that scholarship with only 9As and i really want to find out wat scholarship is that.And she told grandma that her grandson will become a doctor after taking up the scholarship and i doubt it will either be matrix or jpa..so what it is?Is it melaka manipal medical college or something like that?But i'm sure there is no scholarship for mmmc right..pls help me clarify this.thanks.

It is JPA scholarship. JPA sent to either to MMC 1st or India 1st to study and later on to India or come back to MMC to further your study.

It couldnt be coz he said that he already got the scholarship when the jpa result is not yet out

maybe he is already starting his pre-U course under JPA scholarship. According to wat i know, a person need to do 2 year pre-U course at an university. then only he can further his study at MMC or India. that is JPA contract.

if he really get the scholarship, but not JPA, then i hav no idea, wat kind of scholarship does he get.

for your situtation, it could be that, he get the JPA scholarship last year, and of course this year, when JPA result is not yet released, he already secure his JPA scholarship.

from my knowledge, for spm holders to be eligble to study medical school, they have to study Pre-U first regardless on scholarship or not.

Perhaps FAMA scholarship? MMMC students will do 2 1/2 years in India first and the return to Malaysia to complete the course. Since, it's your grandma's friend's grandson, the news might not be accurate. You should meet him if you want to know more details. The news will be much biased when it passed through 2 grandma whom normally don't know much about education issues........
