JPA scholarship is available for STPM holders...BUT! It's only for IPTA. Correct me if Im wrong. Be disappointed if you expect JPA to offer overseas scholarship for STPM holders.

The same goes for medicine. If you get IPTA medicine, JPA will automatically offer you the scholarship without having to apply. It's just whether you are accepting it or not. RM9000 per annum (compared to RM7000 loan per annum by PTPTN), but the 10 yrs bond thingy is still there.

Ooo.. I see.. Thanks for the info. Are you mean, if im using PTPTN loan, I just need to pay the fees after study, if I accept JPA means I have the bond. How if I accept the JPA, can I pursue my study for Md in overseas?

yes, for ptptn, you have to pay back the loan on monthly basis.. just like loan from banks.. but for JPA scholarship, you have to work for them for 10 years.. i'm not sure if they have scholarship for stpm students to do the whole course overseas, but for example in IMU, there's scholarship available from JPA to do your medicine course if you're twinnign with overseas unis..

Actually if the course if too costly and PTPTN 7000 is not enough, then just go for JPA..even if the bond is still there

WHY?

when completing the course, u can break the bond and u pay them back, it is just another way of loan...just that u get more from JPA compring to PTPTN.

you sure you can break the bond that easily?? as far as concerned if you do break the bond, you have to pay back the amount that JPA has paid for you in 30 days.. so, think again...
