Hi Crezki! During my time, the ISAT results are released at different times - the earlier you sit for it, the earlier you get your results as compared to someone else who sits for it at a later testing session. So, it really depends on when you took ISAT... All the best for your ISAT!

Hey Wanicute,

I am sorry to tell you that there is absolutely no way you can prepare for the ISAT paper. All you can do is familiarise yourself with the sample questions qiven to you.

You can also get a copy of those questions at http://www.acer.edu.au/isat/

Tips for ISAT? Do not be fooled by the sample questions. I must tell you the ISAT exam is extremely difficult. So, do it as soon as you can. In fact, you should have all done it by now.

Just take it easy with the paper. Don't rush it, because the paper is very mentally draining. Make sure you don't spend too much time on one qusetion, there are still 99 more questions.

Get to the place on time, wear something warm, get enough sleep the night before, if you need a bottle of water, bring one, and relax. When the exam starts, concentrate on it. It is extremely important for UWA. Without high marks for ISAT, you might be called for an interview with Monash, but definitely not with UWA. UWA requires you to get at least a 90% overall score.

Thanks to jane_gun for the wish! Anyway, I've got my ISAT result when I started this thread, LoL!

To wanicute1988, well, I think I agree with jay3349; you can't really prepare for the test, other than to condition yourself to a speeded exam that requires thinking (a LOT of thinking, that is).

It has 100 questions in 3 hours. I remembered that I prayed a lot during that week itself, because our pre-revision exam started on the same day as ISAT itself! (On that day I had 6 total hours of exam, RoFL...started around 8.30am, ended at 6.30pm...exhausting)

Since then I called ISAT the Intellectually Stressful Agonizing Torture.

Heheh.

Oh ya, the result will be divided into three scores: Critical Reasoning (CR), Quantitive Reasoning (QR) and Overall Reasoning (OR).

Each has a raw score (from 100 to 200), and a percentile score (meaning the percentage of scores you outscored).

No worries, Crezki... So, how did you go in you ISAT if you don't mind me asking?

My only suggestion is, sleep well, let your brain do the rest. :)
