Hey there,
Welcome to ReMag :)
There is a lot of stuff to do but little human capital. So, your help will be much appreciated.
Currently, I think there's three jobs.
One is editting.
Two is writing.
Three is designing.
On editting, we have silverblue and topdog acting as the editor in chief. 4 others ppl are working under them as editors.
On writing, we have some.
On designing, we have masterof_none and minter lim.
So, you guys need to recognize which area are you interested in. Please reply to this thread by stating what you want to do and your contact.
And lastly, if there is anything else you want to do, like help in promoting remag or something, just state in your reply.
and yeah, that is. thanks in advance.

I wished i had the time to contribute directly to this Project. As for now, i will try to actively throw in some idea and help gather information to those who are writing and need some research on the particular subject.
So basically i'm the office boy. I'll be the all rounder to those who needs it.

I'm interested in contributing in both writing and designing. Due to my "seasonal" availability, I dare not give 100% commitment because I don't want to disappoint anyone with lousy work.
Having said that, I would like to help with the production of remag 2. I don't know when your target publishing date is. I'll be available mid till late April to work on it (May schedule is unknown for the time being). Just let me know if you need help.
Cheers!

SIgh, i write also no talent already lar... What's more about editing or designing. BUt i think i will come up with one or two articles, plus maybe a poem... Maybe i can help promoting Remag also... Hehe...
I've been eyeing ReMag and this SIG for quite some time but only recently did I decide to join ... I can't write but if there is anything I can help in the website or graphics, I'm more than willing to help ... I can also draw strip comics for ReMag if you like the idea :)

I think we need a graphic guy for the website.
Currently, I don't really have much experiece in photoshop.
(i'm taking photoshop class this summer, hoping to be an expert in photoshopping next fall :P)
I think it would be nice to have a pic for each article.

Luke, interested? :-)

good idea .. but we need to think of what pic we would put for each article .. other than that, I'm all for it ..

hehe .. Syamsul forwarded me the discussion ... I'm fine with the idea .. actually, I've already started drawing the 1st page :) .. the comic is about a guy coming to US and his daily discoveries (sounds familiar? :P :P)

thanks Luke,
yeah, I think those pictures would be related to the article..
I was imagining.. for example, if the article is about Education,
we have some books, Malaysians students, etc. and then we combine them.. and put at the top.
if the article is too long, we can even divide it into two pages. put some pictures here and there.. etc.
As for the comics, I think we can do it in series. Just like manga.
and then, that way, people would be attracted to read it..
maybe it's a good way to spread word about ReMag.

RemagComics?
How about ReMics? LOL!
ReMics .. sounds like "remix" hahaha ... anyway I'm already on .. you can count on me :) :) :) ... but I think I will make the series one page or longer for each edition since ReMag only comes once in 2 months ...
apart from that, I can help you guys in the website designing :)

ahaa!. ReMics sounds good. ! :).
I think, after the ReMics, cameout, it's worth to send out emails to members... to go check out ReMag. First impression of ReMag+ ReMics. would last long.

hey...what about calling it ReManga? hihihi..
hmm..Luke-kun, your comic's story line, right...is it an autobiographical kinda story? heheh..
Well, maybe we could have a section for members to upload photos that they think maybe useful for Remag...
mmm good idea ... I think I can create a module for that ... but do we want to restrict the uploading to ReMag crew only?
hmm..Luke-kun, your comic's story line, right...is it an autobiographical kinda story? heheh..
kind of .. it'll portray oversea malaysian students' experience .. and it will be a loose series (i.e each chapter is self-contained) .. anyway, I welcome any idea for the story ..

hmm..yeah, that'll be good. at least, that way we dont keep ppl waiting and 'pestering' for us to come up with the latest issue ASAP coz they want to know, what comes next.
maybe we can get storylines, from ppl's experiences or from discussions on ReCom..like in this thread "trust betrayal"...we hv quite a good source of stories..so why not use it, right?

hi. am new here, so have no clue what remag is, whether it's print or online or anything. would appreciate it if the current chief editor sends me an email or refers me to more info.
i've always been interested in the world of publications (what am i doing with a medic scholarship???) and would love to write/edit, though have to say my editing skills are better.
thanks!

why not ReBlog instead of ReMag?
