when ppl mention university of london, they immediately think of KCL, UCL, imperial and lse. so imperial is leaving, the other 3 might leave too after imperial. what do you guys think bout the other colleges of the UoL?
the famous ones include RoHo, QM, goldsmiths, soas, heythrop, lbs, etc. are they worth applying to when compared to their peers in the uk higher education system? what are the impressions you guys have for these other colleges and how do they fare in their reputations and quality for research and teaching? what do people normally think of say when we say we are graduates of QM, or soas, or RoHo? i was like thinking of doing postgraduate history in RoHo, but arent sure of how ppl from the uk and around the world think of the college.
anyone from UoL other than the big 4?
to digress, are UoL's external programmes a lesser degree? i mean, yeah it does have this statute saying that ppl qualifying for the degree has attained the same level of education wherever they had studied for it etc, but what do employers and the academia think of it?
