Universities Intake in Australia.

According to University Of Melbourne webpage,

'academic year' means-

the period commencing on and including the Monday falling on or closest to the first day of March of each calendar year and concluding at the end of the annual examination period; or
any other period determined by the Council;

does this mean, australian unis intake is only in March?

And for Unis in UK/US, there's two intakes right? One is in September and another one is in _______?

As far as i m concerned, Australian Uni have two intakes...Semester 1 (Feb/March) and Semester 2 (July)... Not all courses is offered for Semester 2 intake... Medicine is not offered in Semester 2 intake...
