well MBAs are usually done after you've done your 1st degree and have at least 2 or 3 years experience. Any 1st degree will do I think, but if you're looking for better job opportunities in future esp. in MNCs, it's worth noting that MBAs from a well-reputed business school is worth much more than a normal one.

Also, it's not just a degree but a place to network and establish your connections.

honestly speaking, I haven't heard much about local MBAs. The better ones that is closest to Malaysia is perhaps INSEAD based in S'pore.

Worldwide, higher ranked universities have a better reputation e.g. Harvard Business School, Wharton, LBS, etc, esp. those with a huge list of prestigious alumni.

Basically, in the business world, the higher up you wanna go depends on who you know and who you're associated with.
