Hi there =) I did say u can get help from this forum but was expecting you to give more details. Hope you wont mind me adding some info on ur behalf.

She's hoping for some interview tips coz she's recently applied for the big four accounting firms and currently has a reply from PWC and deloitte. So if there are other accountants who may have gone through these interviews your input would be much appreciated. I'm sure it will help for all other such applicants in the future as well.

So that's it... counting on all the kind hearted successful accountants in recom hahaha....

The way I would put it - the Big Four is sort of the equivalent to the Ivy Leagues. In accounting context, the Big Four is a group of 4 prestigious accounting firms.

1) Pricewaterhouse Coopers
2) Delloite
3) Ernst and Young
4) ...

Well, I don't know the forth, try wikipedia-ing it.

correct me if I'm wrong

Haha guess i should have been more detailed myself... :P

Well anyway liangfuhan and jasmine_tea are right.... The big four refers to 4 prestigious accounting firms and listed according to rank just the way liangfuhan put it with jasmine_tea's addition for the last position

1. Pricewaterhouse Coopers
2. Deloitte
3. Ernst & Young
4. KPMG

sorry for asking so much, i'm not into accounting, and thanks for providing info on the BIG FOUR, I was really curious actually, hahaha.

There's company like this in Malaysia?

I have a collegue in Price Water House Coopers and they used to work for Maxis as an account assistant.

Ad they're great people!

My tips for interview is, maybe the dress code? Althoug I dont believe in first impression, but thats what most people looks at.

Anyway, good luck!
