Hi all,

I was just wondering what's written on your Phd diploma? Is it just a simple "XYZ was admitted to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy" or do they detail stuff like what was your major and specialisation?

I'm asking about this because a group of students at my university think that the university should include details like major and specialisation. Seems like I'm one of the few dissenting voices who think that just a simple Doctor of Philosophy is enough.

So, I'd appreciate it if you could tell me what was written on your diploma and even better if you could attach a low resolution image with all the important details (eg. name, signatures) blanked out.

Thanks.
