Is boston really that cold during winter?

As compared to southern states, New England(places near Boston) is colder in general. But as compared to Midwest, Boston is slightly less colder.

Are there anything better to do in Boston during the hols? Or is it better if we come back?

I'm in the Uk but i'm thinking of going to Malaysia this summer. I'd love to do some voluntary work or something over there.

On what to do during summer? I would say that you can take classes, if you wish~! Or you can take up some on-campus job too, plus classes. Or you can take up a research opportunity on campus or off-campus, or you can take up an internship.

Guess those are the few main options, or you can choose to have a long break.

We have never experienced any racial discrimination in any form whatsoever the many years I have been in Canada. A Vietnamese sushi chef here I know was once a refugee at Pulau Betong. He, like many others, I know has prospered and his children have all gone through university.

Malaysia's loss of talent to other countries is the result of the pervasive special rights now entrenched in the constitution.

It was meant to last for 25 years to allow - in the words of the first prime minister - "the malays to catch up with the Chinese". It is now 47 years later.

In foreign countries such as Canada, it is the majority that has to take care of minority rights be it the gays, the natives, the women and whatever groups there are. We pay heavy taxes but these go for the poor and low-income people irrespective of race, colour or creed.

So the malay, you may keep your rights and perpetuate them. Such things are archaic. Who loses in the end? Your country, which should have been a first world one by today.

To your points noneedname, do you think that any Malaysian, be it Malays, Chinese or Indians, do not pay taxes based on their earnings? If there is, please report to the authority, with their names, and their details. If you believe that you have sufficient prove about that, go public with it. If you can't then, there is no need to cast aspersions.

Malaysia is our country, that many of us here in ReCom.org , love dearly. We are Malaysians, and we are together, irrespective of our races. We work together, to share opinions, to learn together, so I will encourage you to share your constructive points here in ReCom.

Enlighten us with your constructive view points and not merely making comments that only incite racial hatred.

In Malaysia, isn't it the ones that earn more will pay more taxes? Isn't it the higher pay bracket you are, the higher your taxes in Malaysia? Please highlight it otherwise, if you find it otherwise.
