I is ich
You is ihr
We is wir
He is er
She is sie
It is es

All nouns have genders (he, she, neutral) so a table is a he and a chair is a she (I think)...so there is a lot more to it... :)

Oh, it's not that simple...

I = ich
you (singular)(informal) = du
he/she/it = er/sie/es
we = wir
you (plural)(informal) = ihr
you (singular or plural)(formal) = Sie
they = sie

Capital letters are important in writing. Take note :)

Table(der Tisch) and chair (der Stuhl) are both male.
Flower (die Blume) for example is female.
House (das Haus) is neutral.

And they change depending on the "cases". @<hidden>@<hidden> Good luck learning.

Anyway, I guess this can be placed in the [SIG] Alles Deutschland ("Everything Germany")

Sometimes (esp. online), when the ???? are not available, people type ae, oe, ue and ss respectively instead. So ? is really just pronounced as a long s.

Oh my, I'm so sorry, I started a new thread under language and literature about German because I didn't know this thread already existed elsewhere (my mistake to only search the language forum for the thread).

Anyway, I can speak/read/write German although I'm still always trying to find ways to improve it, but I can definitely help with basics and beginner German (I'm about Advanced level) so I'd be happy to teach German.

My thread is here (http://www.recom.org/forum/showthread.php?p=320624#post320624)though. And it would really be kinda troublesome for me to hunt down every thread with questions about the German language because I don't usually spend time in forums, so it'd be great if you could direct your questions there somehow?

Also, I miss you - Ich vermisse dich! or alternatively "Du fehlst mir"
