HELP university college scholarships

Did anyone apply for HELP university college scholarships? i have come across the scholarships and have found that the scholarships are for A level study as well as for matriculation programme. But the scholarships for A level only have a duration of 1 year...see the information below.

Full and partial scholarships (ranging from RM10,000 to RM14,000) are available to students enrolled in the A-Level program.
Duration of Award : 1 year
Eligibility : Malaysians only
Conditions : Students who attain the following results in their SPM or O-Levels are eligible to apply:



July 2007 Intake
Qualifications Partial Scholarship
RM18,000 RM10,000 RM6,000
For New Students
*SPM 11A1s and above 9A1s - 10A1s 8A1s



January & March 2008 Intake
Qualifications Partial Scholarship
RM14,000 RM12,000 RM10,000
For New Students
*SPM 10A1s and above 9A1s 8A1s



Another is the HElP scholarships for Matriculation programme.

(RM8,000) (RM5,000) (RM1,500)
For New Students
*SPM/ O-Levels 9A1s and above (GL) 9As (GL) 8As (GL) 7As (GL)

For April 2008
Qualifications Full Scholarship (RM13,200) Partial Scholarship
(RM8,000) (RM5,000) (RM1,500)
For New Students
*SPM/ O-Levels 9A1s and above (GL) 9As (GL) 8As (GL) 7As (GL)

GL - Greenlight Scholarship, subject to availability.

Hi! I'm an ex-HELP scholar... Are you sure the A-levels scholarship is only for 1 year? It might be a typo error and could be for the entire course - check out with HELP themselves... It really depends on what sort of degree you wanna do later on - if you're looking into going abroad, A-Levels would be the safest choice plus the programme in HELP (and its lecturers) are really good... =) If you're thinking of continuing in HELP for your degree then maybe the HMC courses will be more useful...
