I set up this thread, so that in the future anyone who finds out any nice conference to be recommended to fellow ReCom members could put up here.

One that I have found and I think i would apply would be:
http://www.businesstoday.org/backend/7/public_html/index.php/Conference

Read the details in it. Basically, it is a Business Today Conference organized by Princeton students. Any undergraduate from any university/college in the world of any major can apply. So, hopefully you guys can take the opportunities. All accommodation and meal will be fully paid. 85% of traveling cost will be subsidized too. A very good deal.

Just got the good news of being selected for the Business Today International Conference 2004. Very excited about it! It would be in November 2004 in NYC.

Hopefully more ReCom members can apply for it next year. Application around Feb - April 2005. http://www.businesstoday.org You just need to be an undergraduate (any major) in any university any part of the world. This conference would be a great networking opportunities for those who have some interest in Business. There would be about 190 undergraduates and about 100 business executives selected for this conference. Founder of Business Today is Steve Forbes, Founder of Forbes Magazine.

I think such info of events is important..
why don?t we have a new section.. let?s call it EVENT section where we can gather very useful event announcement so that ReCommers wont miss a chance to participate in such event?

we can include that party in malaysia and ReCom NY gathering in such section...

we can submit seminars and expo in such section as well..

just a suggestion...

I think such a thread is sufficient... unless we have lots of postings about this. Hopefully more people can post on any opportunity they find....

To all who have heard from me about the fantastic China trip in July 2004, the 6th China Synergy Program For Outstanding Youth will again be held from 10th to 27th July 2005. This trip will bring you to HK, Guangdong, Xian, Shanghai and Beijing. Typically neighboring cities within those cities, like Panyu, Huadu, Yangling, Suzhou, Tianjin will be visited, just like during my time. You will get to meet a lot of top governmental officers, business executives, successful youth, as well as other students from all over the world.

This trip will be heavily sponsored. What you need to pay is USD200 if you are successful in applying (this is the new co-payment they initiate this year) and your own flight to HK and your own visa (if applicable).

Application fee is FREE!!! The only downside is that it is open to only everyone who has a Chinese root. So, if you have any relatives who is a chinese you can apply.
