Congrats to all 2008 JPA scholars :laugh

If u dont mind, please help me with my little survey.

If u get JPA scholarship and ur family income is more than RM10,000, please post your:

1) spm result,
2) bumi/non-bumi,
3) whether ur parent(s) is/are government servant,
4) exact family income (optional).

Note: only post if ur family income is more than RM10,000. i.e. > RM10k

Why do you need a survey here? It is a fact that JPA acceptance is not transparent and that there are some whose parents earned more than 10K. I don't think anyone here will want to reveal their personal information just like that. Financial is a sensitive issue after all.

Please do not turn ReCom into a survey site.

While it would be interesting to know more about other successful applicants' financial background, do take note that JPA gives out around 2000 scholarships while there are only less than 100 applicants in ReCom. With such a small and nonrandom sample, you can't really make any meaningful conclusion about JPA's policy in this regard.

I am leaving this thread alone at the moment, but if there are others who are against this thread then I will close it.

agree.... i am fine with doing any survey, but a survey asking about this financial issue will raise another sensitive issue... such as, "why rich people also can get JPA? bla bla bla"
