Hi, I'm new here so if I've done anything wrong, please feel free to inform me.:)
Does anyone know of anybody studying in California? I'm planning to study at DeAnza Community College, Ca, this fall. Got any advice?

Citation needed! I'm not sure how true what is written in the book that DeAnza Community College gave me that's why I'm putting up these info so that someone who knows can tell me. Please! If anybody has the answers, post them here or PM me, pretty please...........
Outstanding Transfer Reputation
Over the past 40 years, Foothill and De Anza have consistently ranked among the top two-year colleges in the US for outstanding academics and successful transfer to worldclass universities. Bcoz our programs parallel requirements for the first 2 years of university study, more than 1-third of all American students earning a bachelor's degree now start at a community college. In fact, your chance of being accepted by a prestigious university for your third year is much greater if you start at a reputable 2-year college, lke Foothill or De Anza, recognized for academic exellence and preparation.
Thanks to special articulation and transfer admission agreements, as well as Transfer Center assistance, our students transfer to highly selective universities like UC Berkeley, UCLA, USC, Stanford, Cornell, Columbia, NYU, Santa Clara and many more.
Affordable Tuition
When you complete your first 2 years of university education at Foothill or De Anza, you'll be much better prepared to succeed in your last 2 years once you have transferred to the university. And, you'll cut the cost of your bachelor's degree in half. The average tuition cost per year at Foothill or De Anza is less than $5000 USD!
This info is picked out from "Foothill+De Anza 2 colleges.2000 friends.2 years of inspiration" For more information, visit their website at http://www.international.fhda.edu
Here are also some student testimonials I've found:
"Small classes and knowledgeable teachers make learning a great experience. By just telling people that I study at Foothill, I've already gotten a summer internship at Intel"
Amir studying Electrical Engineering
"I am so proud that I could pursue my academic interests at De Anza and compete in the Northen California Track and Field Championship meeting some world class athletes"
Andrew studying Industrial Engineering & Operations Research at UC Berkeley.

I went to DeAnza previously just for hanging out. I think it's a nice place to study. I noted many Asians too. I don't know about now.
