[STPM] Form 6 Subjects to Pursue Psychology Art

Well, i'd just started my form 6 last week and we are going to choose our subject next week. So, there were 3 pakage offered.....

1st, Pengajian AM, Perniagaan, Sejarah, Ekonomi
2nd, Pengajian Am, Math, Ekonomi, Akaun
3rd, Pengajian Am, BM, Sejarah, Ekonomi

So...which pakage shud i choose? I'm interested in taking physhology art when i enter U next time.....

I don't think Psychology has any specific subject prerequisites, so feel free to take whatever combination which you feel best interests you. =)

Choosing some subjects which require a lot of reading, memorizing and essay-writing may be helpful, because doing Psychology is something like that. You would be able to utilize the reading/memorizing/essay-writing skills you picked up in Form Six when you start your actual degree.

Since you are in form6, I assume that you will further your studies in local university. If I am not mistaken, the only local university that offers such course is UMS.

My cousin is studying this course. She took the first package.:)

Also, it's possible to get into private colleges to study Psychology after STPM anyway. =)

social science is a field sort of like engineering and psychology is a type of social science.

Social Science is a wide field, and psychology is one course under this field.

Studying psychology needs a lot of CRITICAL THINKING. Why this happen...why people behave like that...you will need to do research and write research papers. And there are case studies as well. So the writing part is about applying the theories and analysing the problem.
