For those who've always enjoyed stargazing but don't have a telescope, Microsoft presents a virtual version (http://www.worldwidetelescope.org/).

(Frankly, I still prefer my 8'' Orion Dobsonian. Nothing beats observing the cosmos the old-fashioned way.)
