Can't load into Windows

The probz now with my laptop is, once I switch on the laptop, after passing thru the BIOS, it won’t load into the Windows, and just stops there, the monitor screen remains black and nothing happen.

I have checked the boot order to HDDRive as 1st Boot, still no effect.

Is this a boot failure, how could it be solved?

Probably a broken hard disk.

the things is, I have tried reformat the laptop using the recovery CD, I did successfully reformatted the HD and went into windows, I go online, I setup things, but then I decided to restart the computer, and then:

The same things happens again..........I can't load into windows, seemingly not a software probz rite?
I have thought of some boot file probz, but then I couldn't access to the windows recovery console to use the fixboot function, since I am stucked there halfway......

Send your laptop back to it's service centre. Seems like a motherboard or hard drive problem to me here.

:) I have the same experience as yours on my first PC too.
The windows fail to load after my PC reaches the XP Bootskin (A bar where three blue quadrilateral thingummies are moving). I had reformatted my PC for many times but the problem still didn't seem to be resolved. I threw away the PC in the end. :P

At least you still managed to reach the XP bootscreen, I can't even see that......

Is it that the laptops of NEC at last time did not comes with a proper recovery CD? They seems to be using ghost for the recovery option.

I tried stopping the installation of some softwares manually, and then now, I could enter Win XP again.
Really weird.
