Hey guys. I was wondering how people spend their holiday time. At the moment i'm spending it browsing through recom and reading a little on my subjects. Actually even though i'm looking for a major( as you may have been reading on these boards) i'm currently a major in computing at university in London. I'm just intent on finding something better if i can while its not too. I'm also job hunting and i found two good jobs over the summer but given that they were night work i've been advised by my parents to turn them down which in the case of the first offer was something i didnt want to do. I will probably regret turning the first job down for many years to come as the organisation was really buzzing. Anyway, share your thoughts on how you're spending your time so that i can add some activities to my rep. Bye.

i'm just done with my final,a week break before the summer classes make their ways.just received my result *delighted*

for me,holiday is boring.as someone under jpa and not working,i have little green papers to spend.so no cuti-cuti usa.

but then,i am trying to kill the time by reading books,frequenting the library like i am doing right now and of coz visiting museum and all the worth visiting places in my campus.and also jogging around campus for 2,3 hours.

i guess if i have tonne of money,i'll be in NYC now.having fun.or else at edmonton mall,shopping at the world largest's mall.but alas.

no special tips from me. i myself is drifting with voidness.unplanned holidays really full of humdrum.

Get a job! when you have money get a girlfriend. Or.. get a rich girlfriend. There's always a shortcut in life.

Get more people to participate in Recom, and argue with them here... Hehe.... Or maybe you can agree with him also? That will keep you busy for a while here... :P

If you want to learn something, go to ReCom's e-learning! I agree with aquila about getting funded for trips, I just got a free trip to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xian and Hong Kong. Look around your campus and there are tons of opportunities!

Wow! My sentiments exactly. ;)
Some Datuk or Tan Sri's daughter and sit back and enjoy all the benefits of being a rich and well-connected Malaysian. Socialist ideals of a fair and just Malaysia for all be damned! :twisted:

thanks =)

don't think it's too late....we're gonna approach companies who don't normally give out internships this summer, & we'll see how =)
