In my point of view , this is what attracts students the most . As for me , being able to get allowances for my daily life in order not to burden my parents is going to be the most satisfaction I try to achieve now. Sadly , I din't get any sholarship with allowances provided. Hoping that those who got the chance to get the scholarship will use it wisely.

scholarships allowance does relieve the burden of my family Esp it is very beneficial for those who come from a poor family.
IMHO, every scholarships allowance should be allocated for the academically well and at the same time financially tight students!

In my opinion... it should be called subsidy instead as it is always not enough to cover your daily expense:P.....

Agree partially on that.
The overseas allowance in some cases might not really be that sufficient in surviving the first few months when you are still striving to adapt with a foreign environment.Again, it really depends on the country that you're going to and the options of earnig wages on campus if deemed necessary.
Enough digression here.
I see scholarship allowance as a form of trust and capital invested for me in completing my education without the worries of burdening my family financially.

As said by other ReComers, the allowance is generally sufficient, especially during the period when you are abroad. In fact, have never seen any student really not having sufficient money to spend, unless they really overspend themselves.
As appolo mentioned, it is a form of trust and money invested on us, to help us in getting a high quality education and hopefully, we can in return serve the nation, and bring Malaysia towards further development.
