Hi. I was thinking that we at Recom should petition the government into the formation of an Occupational Outlook guide much the same as the one they have in the states for labour statistics so that we the public can be better informed and the future generations can have more guidance when it comes to choosing a career. I've been trying hard to find labour statistics in Malaysia but i cant. If you do know of any websites then post your reply here. Thanks.

I believe that you should be able to find the information from Ministry of Human Resources.

Nevertheless, any statistic is just a rough guide, as many ReComers have mentioned, it depends on how good you are. For instance, if you look at the statistics of Cornell graduates of Computer Science, there are students who make $185,000 a year, there are students who make $30,000 a year. The variability is very large.

I think our Ministry might lack some resources...

Go ask Indonesian, Thai, Burmese, Vietnamese and Filipino Embassy. Now only can provide accurate figure for accurate information processing!

It was meant as a joke. Don't take it seriously...
