Hi, I've been enrolled to an international study system throughout my entire school career, so I graduated with an IB Diploma

Right now I've been accepted to some australian universities that I would really want to go to, but I have no financial way to support myself there.

And when I tried applying to unis in malaysia, they all said either "IPTA" or SPM

so my question is, where can a person with a case like me get a scholarship to go overseas? for biotechnology. and how?

I'd really like to know if you can help, so please answer!! thanks a million!

Actually I think you can get just that, IB is not just for international school, it can be done outside as well like MARA college in Banting has an IB Course and MARA is sort of like a very big name in the country as its for the bumiputra students. In the criteria of those uni scholarships or any outside scholarships they probably don't say "IB" as a requirement because it is not common probably, but what you can do is call them and ask if they accept IB. IB is recognized here and it is at same level as either A level or Diploma, just around there. Because last time I wanted to apply for this overseas scholarship and I was wondering whether they accept Diploma students instead of SPM Leavers, I emailed them and they said yes, even though the criteria listed at the site said nothing about it =)
