Has anyone read the article on thestar.com.my? We are emphasizing book smarts, but aren't we missing the humanity part of the equation? Masyarakat Penyayang? I am sickened and utterly apalled. How do we prevent such inhumane instances?

I think this is an isolated case. I would expect that this kind of abuse happens everywhere and is not limited only to Malaysians.
