I want to take economy in U.But i've read from a guide book tat states tat u need to pass ur pa and any 2 other subject and a credit for maths spm in order to pursue the course.the problem is i've failed my maths in spm.any advice?should i retake my math spm?help plz thx

I would say it is important too..Probably you have to retake it .

well, maths is a quite important subject for all stream. you should really retake it.
p.s. is it maths? or add maths?
I will definitely recommend retaking the test. If you are serious about economics, you should have a very strong math background. The least you can do is to retake your math (whichever it is) and show the admission people how much you have improved. Depending on the university you are studying, the level of math required will differ slightly (or even greatly).
Economics require (at least) strong calculus background (univariable and several variable) and for economics, you will definitely need statistics. I will highly recommend linear algebra and if you want to proceed to postgraduate, you will certainly have to be comfortable with analysis and algebra.
Well, don't be overwhelmed. :D I'm sure things will fall down in their correct places once you reach there. Just take your math exam again.

thanx alot 4 the replies..tat means i'll have to wait for another year to retake the paper b4 enrolling into U?is there any other way to make it into nex year's intake after getting stpm results?
