ReCom's Crystal Durian - AYA Awards

Some of you may have been wondering what happened to the AYA Award nomination. Well, we didn't win, but we are a winner either way to have been nominated.

In short, we received exactly the same price as the 'actual' winner, except they received a pewter durian. So, i give you, our 'Crystal Durian,' enjoy.. :)

Other items that we received:
1. A one year web-hosting plan by Integricity (we dont know what to do with it yet, suggestions are welcomed)
2. Ericsson hybrid mouse (you can use wireless or you can plug the wire in)

dont u dare trash talking ma' ferrari.. haha.. it's just some collection.. :)

About the hosting, we received a free hosting plan for a year, which includes a domain name, 1GB space.

Personally, I wont want to move our hosting; current hosting is damn good and service is awesome.

So, we dont know what to do with the hosting for now.

that's an idea. i was thinking in the line of having competition or something.

maybe design a recom logo or something, the winner gets the hosting.

btw, the hosting has not been claimed yet.

so, what kind of competition should it be?

1. create a logo
2. to write an article about ReCom and to be published in newspaper somewhere
3. write a funny comedy (script, short story, cartoon, etc) about ReCom that can be published throughout all members' blog to publicize ReCom further.
4. any other idea?

5. Competition to see who submits the most creative submission on a ReCom slogan? XD
Or we can offer the hosting to anyone that has a blog that helps. Anyone with a blog and submit their blog address and tell how they use the blog to help people (be it about education - like helping students by posting past year papers, or politics, or religion ... etc)

Then if we see that the blog does have a lot of potential and is helping people a lot (like tinkosong), then we just give the hosting stuff to them.

It's a web hosting. A place to store and serve your web files to users. Take ReCom.org for example. ReCom's files are hosted in one web hosting company. They will manage the servers (computers) to host our files 24 / 7 / 355+(1/4).
