This is AWESOME! :)

http://auto.howstuffworks.com/toyota-pm.htm

Slashdot says: "HowStuffWorks has an interesting story about Toyota's concept, um, car, the PM. In addition to seating only one person and having its hubless wheels driven by electric motors, it incorporates wireless networking so that drivers could surrender control to another human-driven PM and relax as someone else drives them to work. And it reclines!"

To share the burden of driving, multiple PMs can team up in a lead-follow arrangement. One PM can become the lead vehicle, while others follow on autopilot.
room for passengers? :)

I beleive VW had already come up with something similar to this 5-6 years ago.

The idea of some one else driving and few other cars following was also done by the VW folks and they actually test that technology on the Beatles and it worked.

This is nothing new. Expect to see this thing on the street in the year 2080
