hi,
I'm a student currently doing my ausmat in kbu college under the jpa scholarship.I'm in the 2nd semester now.I am quite uncertain and don't know whether I have to prepare a portfolio when applying for auckland university.I read this in the the uni auckland's website and found out about this. And,is university of auckland or victoria in wellington is a better uni for architecture course??? please,help me!

I'm not too familiar with Australia, but I know there are some pretty good options in for example Canada. Have a look here for architecture education (http://www.educations.com/Architectural_Technology_74029.htm).
I think in a lot of cases you may well need to provide a portfolio of some kind though.

Hey Hazelnut,
This is 5 months late, and you re a probably started your deg at Auckland. I would say Victoria has a better architectural school - simply because i have seen their faculty's work and research as well as some friends who have studied in Victoria. Auckland does has better university in general. The better question is, which city do you like - auckland or wellington as that probably going to make a bigger influence on the $ and quality of your degree.
You have to prepare portfolio for all architectural degree entrance. Check their websites.
