What do you think about this season's talent? I think it's pretty good and it's going to be a tough one to decide who will be the next American Idol.

I feel Jamar Rogers should not have been cut off. What do you think was the real reason behind that?

Whoa?! You mean, they're still doing the Idol thingy? Man, I kinda zoned out after Jordin Sparks.....

You see, the talent and all, it's there. They've got some real good stuff going on over there, but I stopped watching for precisely the same reason I stopped watching Survivor after Rupert: It's too goddamned repetitive! And don't even get me started on The Amazing Race......

Wow, seriously nobody here likes American Idol? I think this year is by far the best season ever. The talents are amazing with people like Danny Gokey and especially ADAM LAMBERT.:)) Trust me, Adam Lambert has the voice that can match Steven Tyler.

Yea, I know. I thought this would be a good way to gather American Idol fans together but looks like it's just the 2 of us so far..lol.

Not really a fan but I think she suits country songs the best. Oh yea her hand is weird. :P

kris allen seems to be improving too and sometimes I am not quite sure why i can't remember matt giraud..lol

David Archuleta is Season 7 i think. Did not watch much of that because i was busy last year but I still Looove David Archuleta especially when he sang his rendition of "Imagine". I felt it was way better than the traditional, low-key one by John Lennon

Oh my, Kris Allen was AMAZING during disco week. He is soo original and he managed to modernize that somg perfectly until I would think that it was originally his song. He has some resemblance with Jason Mraz, another reason why I like him.

But Adam Lambert is still my top favourite. When he finished performing at disco week, I was thinking' "Huh, why so short? Sing more!" =D

OMG! Results are just in (for me, since I don't have Astro). Kris Allen was crowned the 8th American Idol and "No Boundaries" would be his first single.

Honestly, I would prefer Adam Lambert to win American Idol but I'm cool with Kris winning too. Both are equally humble and will be great and fantastic in their own ways. However, I do feel Adam Lambert may be more lasting and memorable in the music industry compared to Kris.

Plus, we must remember that this is American IDOL. I don't think America is ready to accept eye-liners and an openly gay guy as their next idol. (Although, I am totally cool with that). Even though many often say that this is just a singing competition, but it is actually more than that. The winner must not only sing well but must be able to portray the clean and good image. For that, Kris beats Adam flat out. After all it is not called "America's Next Top Singer" for a reason.

Now, we will just have to wait for their albums. I can't wait for Adam's!=D

Actually I didn't watch the whole competition, so I don't have any idea on who's qualified to be the winner. I just knew the result through newspaper, but I think both Kris Allen and Adam Lambert are handsome, cool! Nonetheless, David Archuleta is more handsome than them. :P

One thing.. the finals should have been between Adam and Gokey. The finals was a little disappointing in my point of view because they don't get to pick the songs they like to sing. I do like Kara's song but asking Simon Fuller to pick a song and requesting them to re-sing earlier songs, that's such a bore.. Luckily the final concert was superb. I especially enjoyed Adam and Kiss's performance.. Scary but so.. lively...

however, overall, I still think that Adam Lambert is better than Kris. Some people said that they don't understand what he is screaming about but that is the beauty.. He screams without going out of tune and it's just superb to see such talent perform on stage. All those who said his screaming is horrible are indeed either 'pro-Kris' or have prejudice towards Adam since his revelation of kissing another guy. It's obvious that since that picture was posted on the net, his popularity had dropped a lot..

So, after this season, I rate these three as the best over the past seasons :

(2) Adam Lambert
(3) David Cook
