REALLY??? SO IT'S REALLY GOING TO BE EXTENDED TO DEGREE?? xD
I'm not opening the account yet, heard from my degree friend that they'll open the account upon registeration, so they'll need RM100, then forward the tuition fee money of RM350 for them (they'll return it when we successfully open the account)
So i just got my student id there and nothing else... What did u do?

Overcoming the odds
Malaysians Abroad by WONG LI ZA
LIVING in Japan as a foreigner can be tough. However, trying to set up a business there as a foreigner is a whole new ball game.
From day one, Kedah-born Lim Wee Yee was beset with obstacles like getting a work visa, registering his business and securing a bank loan.
However, these problems merely fuelled his zeal in resolving them.
“The more difficulties I encountered, the more determined I was to overcome them to pave the way for future foreign businessmen in Japan,” said Lim, 39, who first went there to study in 1992.
A graduate of Fukuoka’s Kyushu Institute of Technology (KIT), Lim is chief executive officer of MALTech Inc, a software systems development company.
After graduating, he worked for a Japanese corporation for a few years before realising that there was a demand for software in the telephony market.
Visionary: Lim Wee Yee is co-founder and CEO of MALTech Inc, a software systems development company based in Fukuoka, Japan.
In 1999, Lim set up MALTech with his Indonesian friend Arnold Siboro, also from KIT. Based in Iizuka city, Fukuoka, MALTech was the first IT venture company set up by foreign students in Japan.
In 2001, the local government wanted to simulate a Silicon Valley in Fukuoka. At the same time, the central Japanese Government launched a programme to attract more foreign engineers to work in the country.
Due to these developments, Lim finally managed to get his company registered that year.
“Japan was facing an ageing society and needed young people to work for the country,” added Lim,
In 2003, the government enacted the Iizuka Asia IT Special Zone for structural reform to stimulate the economy, and appointed MALTech as the only company entitled to benefits that include a special five-year working visa, and reduced visa application period from one month to three days.
In December 2007, Japan’s Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Ministry,
through its National Institute of Science and Technology Policy, awarded MALTech “Researcher of the Year 2007” for its contribution to innovation as entrepreneurs. This award is given to 10 recipients in the country each year. MALTech was the first foreign-owned company to win the award.
All the recognition has helped Lim and his company gain trust and acceptance by the local business community.
“Doing business in Japan is not as easy as one thinks. Being foreigners, we have to work very hard to earn the locals’ confidence in our ability,” said Lim, who holds a Bachelor of Computer Science and Master of Computer Engineering.
Last year, (), MALTech generated a total income of 12mil yen (RM446,712). It has, among others, developed web-based systems for personal computers as well as web-based systems that handsets of Japan’s three major carriers – DoCoMo, AU and Softbank – can access.
The company currently employs 15 staff at its headquarters in Fukuoka, three of whom are Japanese, with the rest being Malaysians, Indonesians and Filipinos.
Last year, the company also set up a branch office in Jakarta. At present, Indonesia’s first and second largest telco companies use MALTech’s software systems.
Besides expanding his business within Japan, Lim also hopes to introduce his company’s technology to Malaysia and the rest of Southeast-Asia soon.
Today Lim, whose wife is Japanese, continues to embrace the “never give up” attitude.
“Make the change, and you will get the chance,” said Lim, who has a son aged seven and a daughter, nine.

Do you mean the engineering courses available in this programme?
Engineering courses being offered are mechanical engineering, control engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering, electronics & electrical engineering, architecture, marine engineering(?). I am not so sure whether there is bioengineering in diploma level or not. By the way, I heard the rumors about JPA will not going to sponsor the students who taking architecture.
About the robotics, you can learn it under mechanical eng or control eng or E&E eng.

So far, until last year, it was 100% percent to receive scholarship as long as you get admission to university undergraduate third year(for The University of Tokyo and if you change your course, you will start from undergraduate 2nd year)
