I have seen some mat salleh in KL bringing one large camping bag behind them and travel around on foot...
it seems they are traveling non stop from one country to another.

I have seen The Amazing Race where contestants have great adventure doing cross countries competition.

I have been influenced by some adventure books where the author go round the whole continent to understand the culture and civilisation. he see every scenes with his own eyes..

I have teamed up with a friend to do such travel + adventure... we will travel cross country on foot, just like those mat salleh in KL... maybe I will do that the next summer holidays...

do you have any experience in such kind of adventure? can you give some suggestion?

so anyone of you thinking of joining such adventure? we could discuss it togather and share our experience...

i don?t think it?s a good idea.
it?s not active anymore..

if I share it there it would be like singing in an empthy room...
maybe I should wait until the SIG is revived...

besides, there?s no suitable thread for my adventure.

great! it?s too early for detailed planning..
I am still gathering infos.
since I am studying in germany I am going to travel the whole western europe.
maybe we are touring for months..
so it?s not makan angin stuff but survivor and adventure..
if u r a fan of amazing race and survivor I think u might be interested in this hard travel..

I am having a team now.. for time being there are 2 people.. If you want to come to join me in Germany that would be great... but you have to save some money for this kind of adventure...

since we are doing long traveling.. I wonder if we can get the attension of local media? wondering how to apply to get into the malaysian book of records...

I'm not sure if i'm up for breaking any records but i would love to backpack around Western Europe. How about doing the route of the tour de France 2005. And world cup Germany 2006 sounds good.

OK then. I shall discuss with my teamate about it...
hopefully u will be a part of my team....
do u have any experience in surviving in jungle?
I would like to say again this is adventure not makan angin.. we have to suffer a lot in the journey...
can u tell me more about your experience?
I hope we can share our travelling knowledge togather..
thanx again!

by the way, the world cup is still far away... you can ask my korean programm friends about the world cup experience..
remember the last world cup someone hang malaysian and selangor flag by the field? I wonder which malaysian has such idea to do such a thing....

I dont have any survivor experience. My only encounter with nature is a trip to the zoo or laying on the beach in Langkawi. I prefer to play safe. I'm not good with heights. I'm still interested to see what you're going to be planning though.

I think STA should deal with that too. Have you been to any countries outside of Germany? How much of Germany have you seen? If you're planning on visiting more than one country then have you thought about how to get to all the different places?

I dont think i could afford it this year but it would be nice, thanks. Actually because i'm between courses i have to budget and start preparations early for the new term in September. Money is running low and i have to budget. Last week i was thinking about going to the European Championships but the money is too tight for that which is a bummer. When you decide to come over to London, if you've got nobody to show you around then contact me and i'll take you to all the places not on the tourist map :D I've never been to Germany before but i was offered the chance to go to Berlin when i was in the equivalent of form 6. Is there any kind of Malaysian community over there? Another thing i wanted to do this year is the Olympic games. That is still a slight possibility. The knock out stages of the European championships is also a slight possibility. Maybe we could go to athens this year? but then you said you're only interested in Germany. Oh well.
