Is there anyone here that attends a London University? I have just finished a diploma at Middlesex and am switching to a degree at London Met studying computing. It would be cool to have a game of Badminton sometime?
Another thing is that i'm interested in starting up a world football league in London. The league consists of teams of nations. There is a big ethnic population in London and it would be really fun. There are lots of Somalis and Indians, Pakistanis, Greeks and Turks. Not to mention English. I'm looking to start a Malaysian team. We can train and play amongst ourselves first while the league is being organised and then join in when the time comes. I was thinking that all members have to register for 5 pounds this is so the winners have motivation to win the league.
There is even a chance to revamp the format so that we can make it a universities and colleges football league.
Most of all i'm interested in hearing from Malaysians living in London. It would be a good step for us to form a comunity. Living in England has many advantages and i'm sure that many of you would like to work in the Uk when you graduate. Look forward to hear from you.

Where do they play? What time and how much if i have to pay? Do you play with those guys too? I can make it this friday definetely. I cant wait.
Weich. Could you get a sister or something to scout for some cds for me. All she has to do is post them on Ebay and i'll pay postage and packing plus the purchase price and a little on top of the purchase price for her efforts. A sister, brother or friend could do the trick. What do you think? To join Ebay you need a credit card.

wilson house, IC sports hall, near bayswater...or near nahar restaurant....i'm not the sporty type...and I've lost my fitness i think...haha...
anyway, it's only 50p for soccer and 1 pound for badminton..try contacting one of them in the forum....when I last was in the committee, we allowed non-IC ppl to come and play as well...the more the merrier!
and here's the email newsletter sent out:
Sports session for this week:
Friday (11th June 2004) : Football (6-8pm)
Saturday (12th June 2004) : Basketball (8-10pm)
The charge will be 50p per player.
and more info on how to get there:

Weich. How big is the Malaysian contigent at Imperial college? If i am not mistaken it is close to 100 students? If that is the case then why dont you get some of those guys to register with recom. Make this place a little larger. I think recom should also advertise on the UKEC website and MasDuke.

last count while i was a comm member about 160 members....but then there's about 200 M'sians in IC...anyway, not everyone likes to talk about things on forums...we tried that on our own website...but it's impossible to get 100% participation....we only get about 10 members who are active i think, so how many you think will end up here? =)
...anyway, not everyone's interested in sharing their thought...certain threads which seem to lean to certain political stances are not very favourable i think =)
also, most users here seem to be from the US, and most are like already friends who know each other...so it's like a bit strange...anyway, forum-ming is not for everyone...but it gets really addictive once you start

But i cant get in without the swipe card and sometimes waiting outside for somebody to come in can take an age. There are three entrances and how do you know which one people are going to use. Thats why its better to have my own card. Where did you get them from before?

the sports card does not give you access to wilson house...the best option is to get the phone no. of one of those ppl you gotta know there...you gotta know chris tock rite if i'm not wrong?

Is it easy for Malaysians to get a job in UK after we graduate?
Do u have any seniors who were offered employments in UK after graduation?
I heard that it's kinda hard to get a job for Comp. Science graduates nowadays, even in Malaysia. :?
