hi,nice to meet all of you,
I have few questions about this.
I am considering whether to choose
Mpharm in Nottingham or IMU[2+2 university of strathcylde]
I am waiting for my alevel result that will be released on 10/8.Actually,i dnt1 to wait for Mpharm in IMU since there is only one intake which is January next year.Nottingham[september intake] will be a better choice for me but i dnt1 stay in their hostel.
*[if i study in Imu,it will very convenient for me,SAVE COST!]
compare Nottingham vf IMU,which1 is better?
1]total estimation tuition fee+living expenses[4 years]
2]qualification
3]should i consider Bpharm ?

thanks!!!

Hi, I'm in the exact situation as you, seriously. I applied to both uni and I already got the conditional offer from nottingham, now still waiting for the reply from IMU.
Do pay a visit to both the campuses? Personally, I like the studying environment in nottingham, and I think it also has better teaching quality. However, the accomomdation there is not nice at all. Besides, semenyih is a very isolated place, far away from any big cities around.
IMU has better access to any kind of entertainment that comes across your mind. IMU is just 10min driving distance away from my home whereas Nottingham is like 1 hour away, ve to stay in semenyih for sure.
I'm also not sure which one to choose. The fees for nottingham is more expensive than that for IMU. You can just check out for their fees through their respective websites.
For now, I think I'll choose Nottingham. But depending on my actual A-level result, I may change my mind if I can't meet the requirement for their High Achiever Scholarship. To get the scholarship, an A in Chemistry is a must. Basically, ABB to AAB will ensure you a place in Nottingham, and of course the other things like personal statement, reference letter and interview are very important also. Well, at least this is what they told me when I went for their interview last friday.
I think the requirement for IMU is lower, but you need to do both IELTS and MUET.
Anyway, if cost doesn't matter to you, Nottingham is still a better choice rather than IMU. In my case, cost is really the major limiting factor. :cry
Hope to hear from you soon.
