I need a web server

I need somewhere that i can upload files to. I tried Geocities uk but when i put the link to them on my website in asian avenue it came up with an x. i'd appreciate some help.

first of all, what kind of files do u wan to upload to the net? pictures? softwares?

i tried ripway and its good but it has a five mb limit per day. That is a problem. Why do you think Geocities doesnt work?

Geocities doesn't allow hot-linking too.

i dont know any free mp3 webhosting, but u can always use yahoo briefcase, upload ur mp3s there, and make it a public folder if u want ppl to download the song u've uploaded. There's a limit of cos, for the yahoo briefcase, so if u're going to upload many songs, i think u have to register multiple accounts.

You need a webhost, not a web server.

Try to avoid the major names because the there is just too much traffic and they can't afford to give you much space or bandwidth.
