I'm looking for recommendations as to which school I should enroll in - Victoria Institution (VI), St. John's Institution (SJI), or Methodist Boy's Secondary School (MBSSKL). Be sure to note that I'm entering the schools in January for Upper Six. (reason not disclosed).
Initially, my first choice would be to enroll for VI due to its impeccable reputation as one of our country's premier schools. However, after viewing through some posts from Recom here on school recommendations, I found that VI's standards were dropping as many of their good teachers were leaving and that VI is mainly focusing on its co-curriculum achievements rather than academics. And then, I found out about MBSSKL, in which fellow ex-students had posted good comments about the school with it having good and dedicated teachers (F6 specifically). On the other hand, I also saw a post that says otherwise and that MBS is also losing its good teachers (aka guru cemerlang), and that it was also going through some sort of overhaul. I do not have any input on SJI though. I'm pretty much in a fix right now as to which school I should choose.
Apart from that, I also need some recommendations from fellow ReComers on tuition teachers (Near KL ONLY) which are good for the following subjects - Pengajian Am, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics T. (If you happen to have the urge to rebut and state that tuition is not needed for F6 and that tuition teachers are only spoon-feeding you [Yes i know that already], then kindly leave that response out thank you)
The list of tuition teachers I've got so far as as follows:
Pengajian Am

II)Mr Goh
Pusat Tuition Yakin

III) Mr Sho

It would be really helpful if you guys could help provide me with any forms of contact point (Tel)(Cellphone would be preferable). And of course, other recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
