I jus watched Shrek 2 recently and boi, it's simply hilarious even funnier than the first if u ask me!

I decided to start a new tread for us to dicuss bout that big,fat,green ogre,that noisy little donkey or anything u like bout the movie

listen carefully to the dialogues, pay attention to the scenes (some were copied from famous video clips) and dont forget the last scences after the credit!

ok, the fairy tale parts got more than enough to offer liao... Snow white, cinderella, fairy dust...

then we have WWF, rite? and also Matrix ( i think it appears in Shrek 1 and 2). Robin Hood ( i like it when Shrek said, " Go and get your own princess"). what else arr?

Dare not list out the Shrek 2 stuffs coz some of u haven't watch yet, but do catch the scene of spiderman, and JT!

hehe, he's Justin Timberlake lar. Coz Cameron Diaz is dating him currently. And Cameron Diaz plays the voice role of Princess Fiona

Remember what donkey said to Pinnochio, "Say something crazy like I'm wearing a girl's underwear"? LOL!!! That's the best part.

But i still think Shrek 1 is funnier

i watched it!it was funny!i think it's better than shrek1 because shrek 2 is more adventurous!i like the cat.it's so cute especially when he's with the big pathetic eyes.how cute!

i dont know whether you guys are aware of Shrek 2 accomplishment, but Shrek 2 is the third of all box office movies.

1) Titanic - 600millions
2) Star wars - 460millions
3) Shrek 2 - 441millions

if you look at the critics' rating of Shrek 2, it is B. Comparing with The Incredibles at 28th place, with A- and Finding Nemo at 12th place with rating of A-.

Personally, i think it is the matter of time for the movie release that make such big difference. Both Shrek 2 and Finding Nemo were released in summer. The Incredibles was released during winter break. I think winter break is such a short break and people are busy preparing for Christmas and finding it hard to allocate their time for movies. However, during the summer, people are relaxed and summer is such a long season compared to winter.

The audience of these animated (CGI) movies are mostly from teenagers, college students and probably young lovers. To most students and youngsters, summer break give them adequate headroom for many interesting things to do.
