*newbie alert*
Hello there lurker. So, i'm currently in form 4 and i'm taking engineering drawing as my major. I don't know why i took the subject on the first place anyway but I managed to get an average B throughout the year but since i'm a lawyer wanabe, i decided that I didn't need this subject and I should focus more on language so I heard about Literature In English. The problem is, our school doesn't even teach this subject and the teachers isn't really helpful (they're even considering to not teach EST next year --ridiculous) so I'm 100% on my own unless I can somehow maricaluously find a tutor during the holiday.
So, I'm basically just asking the rundown on the subject. I mean, what can I expect? Is it that hard because from what i've heard, it seems pretty tough. I don't want to flunk the exam so, could you please share your experiences or your opinion on the matter? I've already acquired the reading list (which contains so much interesting things). My question, for the novel, drama and short stories, do I have to only choose one to focus on or do I need to study all of them? As for the poem, i read that it's been divided into a few categories (i'm considering the relationship theme); for my old amah, ways of love, tonight I can write etc. do i have to study ALL of them?
And do you have any particular technique on approaching the subject?
thanks in advance for all responses :]
