it?s interesting to see how giant firms compete with each other esp when come to marketing...
i remember last time when KFC was promoting pop corn chicken immediately McD come out something with Ayam McD
then when KFC does an advertisement on daily life (old memories)
McD immitate and does similar advertisement....
it would be interesting to discuss how these giant corp fight in marketing field... let?s discuss here..
latest news : by the way, to compete with Yahoo mail MSN is raising the storage limit...
maybe Gmail will be very tiny in the near future.. haha

ayam goreng McD is ok, nasi ayam McD is horrible. dont eat it unless that's the food they give you in a concentration camp.
i dont know why in malaysia, they dont mention their competitors' name/brand in their ads. it's fun to see bud vs. miller.

monopoly is bad. hence, competition is good. it's maximizes consumers' surplus.. hehe.. econ.. econ.. but anyway, competition is good to consumer because we get better products and/or services.
anyway, i love MSN messenger and hates Yahoo messenger with a passion. BUT, i love Yahoo mail and hates hotmail. My love-hate relationship with all the free services.. LOL..
Speaking of commercials, I love Pepsi vs Coke competition. Their commercials are so cool because they try to show that they are better than their competitor. Has anyone seen the Pepsi and Coke truck commercial! Totally hilarious!

When two or more companies are competing, it's beneficial to us, consumers. Yahoo mail raises it's storage limit to 100MB, KFC n McD bringing in new recipies, coke n pepsi is coming up with more flavours and of course now the competition between Digi, Celcom and Maxis. Look at the sms rate now- as low as 5 cent per sms and calls as low as 30cent per minute. I like them competing. Don't you all think it's good? Not only we get better services, we get cheaper things too :P

when it come to transferring files, msn rocks. but i still hate msn msnger. if you have 100 people in your contact list, and each of them have weird screen name that they can change every day, it's pain in the ass to find somebody. in fact, you can't leave no instant msg to somebody who's offline. damn.

hahaha...
I think msn messenger service is not good
I have been deleting my friends in my list for past many months because my MSN messenger has reached the max. of friends I can add...
after other online friends community exist, friendster now is under pressure.. just recently friendster has upgraded (now using php) and we can now write our previous school etc.
I have seen some unhealthy competition in advertisement...
last time when McD promotes thier ayam goreng they show that...
chicken expert also like them... showing indirectly "KFC" chicken expert promoter goes to McD to eat chicken instead...
and last time after hotlink introduce active 5 with the 5 guys standing...
another HP company also advertise with this almost look alike 5 guys standing alone while the other 100 people using thier HP service..
it?s unhealthy i think...... they attact each other...

dude, i think it's healthy. very healthy indeed. they compete, we win. competition is good for consumer.
it's funny too. if they dont attack each other, i dont think they'll work as hard to be better. i think it's a healthy competition, as long as they dont kill anybody.

And when hotlink came out with their unintuitive dual "SMS package" / "talk package" Digi immediately retaliates with cheaper rates all around. Serves stupid hotlink right...
Competition can only benefit us customers! But competition in the advertising dept is just too much... especially when the ads are getting cheesier, like "I'm luvin it"

You can rename their nicknames using another program, called Messenger Plus (www.msgplus.net). Use this program at ur own risk....cos I think they had spywares inside. Use AdAware to removed them... I like this program, cos I can save my chat history, and rename the nick...

do u think these software giants are so stingy to spare some space for us to have an unlimited list?
I mean does 200 people list needs more than 2 MB?
don?t tell me they are not generous and limit our number of friends...
