Okay, I didn't know which forum was most appropriate for this topic but I suppose it's the Youth of today who are most Eco Conscious so here goes:

Alright, when we print, we do not only use Paper. We also use Ink. Hence, by saving ink we can inadvertently save the Planet (and money!). So, with these goals in mind, let's use Ecofont! The font with holes which saves up to 20% of your ink.

You can download the font from the website :

Just copy and paste the file to your fonts (instructions available on Microsoft.com) and Voila! You're doing the world an Eco Deed.

Smaller font, grey colour, setting "draft mode" in the printer, no unnecessary printing, two pages in one for unimportant stuff.

(We are an unenthusiastic bunch aren't we? :P Sorry slappyfin3, I do think that the font is a great effort, but the same effect can be achieved by draft mode or grey colour, and you get to use the normal fonts that you would use normally :))

Clep, reading on a screen strains my eyes way too much...

And I don't see too much difference between that font and the others which are already available. The eco-label is a marketing stunt anyway

That only reduce the amount of paper used but not ink~ Anyway, its a nice font! I like it too. :P

Haha, coupled with fast draft printing mode and grey ink the font with holes would still save a little ink I suppose :)

Even if it is an eco friendly promotional stunt at least the font is free eh :D
