  2. Format the chats :
  3. once you un-collapse the chatbox formatting toolbar by clicking on the BBCode button, you have access to different formatting options for your chats. You can format a chat by selecting a part (or the totality) of it and then select one of the buttons/list. You can also add empty formatting tags by selecting nothing and clicking one of the buttons/menu thus allowing you to add the chat text afterwards between these tags.*
  4. Access to the different channels : you can have access to different channels restricted to only some usergroupds or for specifics use of the chatbox. The different channels are accessible from the buttons on the left of the chatbox.*
  5. Edit your chats (or others chats) : the edition of a chat can be done by a simple double-click on it.*
  6. Use specific commands : some commands can be accessible in the chatbox depending on the will of the administrator(s) of your forum. These commands let you execute specific actions of formatting, management, etc... You will herebelow the information on the command which are accessible to you. Objektif

Membentuk perwatakan positif (character building) menerusi nilai-nilai murni.

this program is an effort to build patriotism. we should notice it is very very very different from what other countries have been doing for reserve army program or national guard program.

is there anybody here know about any other countries who have done this kind of program b4, please let talk about it, so that we would have a reference or idea that how far can this program go..?

joseph173 points out a very important point. This program is very different from what we have learned of National Service.

I really hope that RECOM members can come up with suggestions, opinions, idea, and then we could compile it and email to the department. They are seeking input from the public.

I have a few friends who are from Taiwan and Korea but none of them enjoyed their time there. I am glad Malaysia is coming up with a new system. I think it will be more or less like BTN/ Kem Bina Negara that we had except those military trainings.

I think those who have been chosen will be very lucky to have the chance to know more about the country and make more friends. This will be a good chance for them to learn more about other races too as normally, not many will have the chance to live with other races.
But as usual... i am still *Ehem* with those ceramah although it is unevitable. Hope that it will be as neutral as possible.

I think that above points are important too especially Cuti Dari Pekerjaan

This is sad. If you have Chinese / Indian etc. (other than Malay) friends and/or relatives who is currently sitting at home, goyang kaki minum kopi, please ask them to volunteer right away.

This is ridiculous actually. 348 out of some few million chinese.

how long is the training? I think I would like to do it when I go home . Sounds really interesting.

Secondly, the law that they're trying to reinforce is crazy. They may as well just not make it voluntary. Just my thought, their policy seems like a hypocrisy. On the one hand they say volunteers, on the other they say they are going to force people to go through simply because they can't meet a quota. They should have thought about this before the starting and make the needed planning.

On the one hand they say volunteers, on the other they say they are going to force people to go through simply because they can't meet a quota.
Good point. To me, I'd compare this with your own class in high school. First the teacher asks, "Who wants to be monitor / class ajk?" And if someone raise up their hand, and the people around sort of agree (usually they do since they get to shun responsiblity), then that person becomes class monitor / ajk.

If no one raise up their hand, knowning that they all are in for work if they do, the teacher will pujuk a bit. "Class monitors gets to do this but rewarded with this" or "Ketua kebersihan don't need to clean the classroom, only needs to instruct people to clean it" etc. Usually, there will be a statement saying, "We have to have the class ajk no matter what, every class needs to be represented".

After that, still no one volunteer, the teacher will point finger.

Sounds fair? or should I say, sounds familiar?
