Again, I have yet to receive word from them (One will understand the purpose of the seemingly unnecessary use of word "again" by stalking me). I'm just starting this thread to facilitate discussions on the scholarship. So, on we go.

Has anyone received any word from MREPC?

Well it's been 2 weeks since the closing date now. Still no news? Or has it ended already? Someone please spare us the misery of being kept in the dark. Thank you!

Tried going to lowyat or other edu forums to see if anyone is shortlisted? Not everyone is on ReCom anyway

Maybe they decided not to sponsor anyone after going through the applications! LOL

BUT, it has happened for other scholarships so don't be surprised if this one does too. Even though MREPC has been sponsoring students off and on (if memory serves me right when going through the history), there are some years where the candidates might not have made the expectation of the company. I heard that for The Star Education Fund (from ReCom's older threads) that it is possible for sponsors to not even sponsor at all if they do not see any decent candidates. Just hope for the best
