What do you mean by rare? Those books are fairly common. You can try out by visiting your nearest public library. I'm sure they are stocked with various STPM and A-levels Maths books. They will surely have a copy of the STPM text books. Or the best, Just take a look at what the form sixers are using I borrowed a few texts from my teachers at school to study for my SATs. I was handed 2 Pelangi books for Mathematics. The first one (red in colour) was the general Maths - both Maths S and T students will have to familiarize themselves with the topics covered here. The second book was for Maths T Paper 2 I believe. Its green in colour Or, if everything fails, just search them up on the net like I did theres tons of info out there just waiting to be accessed!

Cheers

R u sitting for the f.math exam?or u juz study for future use?
actually for engineering use,shd be more on calculus. So,u can try SCHAUM`s series-ADVANCED CALCULUS.
OR u can try MATHEMATICS FOR ENGINEER..there r many books with this title.but this is mainly for university students.
Good luck.

I supposed you in the transition phase, completing your SPM and choosing a suitable pre-u path.

You don't need to do further mathematics at A-levels or STPM just because you want to do engineering, there are tonnes of people who did not do FM and got admitted to do engineering. After all, you will still be taught in your degree. But if want to do it, do it by all means, however do not let it affect your other subjects, if you feel that u can cope with FM and it is somehow pulling down ur performance in other subjects, then dropped it as soon as possible, AAA looks better than AAAB or AAAC

It would be productive if you can learn something from FM.

Oh, on that matter, then there should be tons of engineering maths books in your library. No idea where ya from, but the PUSTAKA in Kuching has quite a few books on engineering maths and individual subtopic books. You can start with Calculus. I have a book but its probably outdated already lols, got it from a junk sale.
