hey, i just got an offer to study in inti. could someone help answer on the following questions?

1. What are the clubs/societies there? Do we need to be active in extra-curiccular activities to gain admission into usa universities? O they just put emphasis on academic performance?
2. R inti students accepted into Harvard or Yale? its cause the booklet by inti mentions that it collaborates with selected unis in the usa and harvard or yale is not mentioned there?
3. Is the college in the jungles or is it situated in the city?
4. What are the food provided there? how do they cost?
5. The study hour?
6. Any guidelines on what to wear? eg we must wear baju kurung or something like that?
7. Are there washing machines/laundry service? if so how much it costs?

1. there are many club and societies here....there are leo club, adventure club, chinise cultural society, stact club and many more...the others questions..i have no idea
3.INTI college is located neither in the jungles nor the city....Nilai is juzt a very small town...Not much entertainment here..but a nice place to study as there is not much temptation...
4. the food provided here are mainly chinese food..but of course there are also indian food and malay food... the cost ..it depends on what you choose to eat....it's range about 3.30 and above nowadays.....inflation does occur... but with the RM 430 per month given by JPA...it should be enough....
5.the study hour usually start at 8.00....it depends on what course you are taking..and the latest class usually ends at 6.00 pm....usually....there are 6 study hours per day....it might be more...
6. At inti....u can wear anything u like....but not too over......baju kurung....it's not that necessary...as very few people will wear unless the malays...but do prepare some formal clothes for presentation...
7. there is no laundry service provided...but washing machines and dryers are provided....and each time usage of washing machine...costs u RM 2.50...and same goes to the dryer....

2.how big is the lecture hall?a lot of people is it?
3.how is the hostel?
4.got internet?
5.the washing machine use 50sen coins?if yes,damn it....
is the campus area big?can we just walk or do we need to use bus or other means of transportation to get from the hostel to lcture halls?
6.i heard got swimming pool.is it?do we need to join a club to swim or we can just go swim as we like?
7.are jpa scholars separated from other students?i mean in hostels,classes,etc...i hope not,i love to socialise.
8.lastly,hope someone can aswer this,how is american university program(AUP) any different from other US programs?

Just go and search past threads. All your answers are there. If you can't find it. Just go to INTI and see for yourself. You will adapt very fast there.

the bedroom is usually twin sharing...not sure whether is air conditioned...last year..our rooms are air conditioned...
water heaters are provided in bathroom..
and facilities??wat facilities..do u wish to know?

1. no hair code...
2. there are a few lecture hall...which can accomaodate over 100 students each..but u usually dont use them as u will be having class in ordinary classroom..
3. the hostel is nice..juz require some walking exercise if u want to go somewhere...
4. yes there is internet but the connection is slow and lousy nowadays..
5. it uses 50 cent coints...but u can change it in INTI MArt and INTI Book Centre...no worries.. the campus quite big...u no need to take bus to class...juz a few minuets walk will take u to the academic block
6. there is swimming pool..and it's FOC...provided..u show them ur student ID..
7. not sure about that...might be seperated...might be not...but last year JPA students are all put in the same hostel block...and the classes..not sure about the AUP programmes
8.cant help u...may be u can ask capablanca...he knows better...

Is it necessary to bring laptop? I know there's computer but are we able to use it anytime? I mean, if there's project work to do or what that're require to use computer..

there are computer labs...but only available during the study hours..and some in the library also...but the library onli open until 9.00 pm during the weekdays...and is closed on sunday...what course are u in?? if u are a SAM students...a laptop is consider a necessity as u will have a lot of assignments....that's onli my opinion...

Oh i see.. My programme is AUP and I get engineering course. I heard people say AUP is like Year 12 in US education, so does it means that it's just like form 6? Can you tell me some of the subjects?
