Talk about the remaining part of a chess game. chinese chess.

My opinion is that there's no such thing as ending strategy. The end game in chinese chess depends on your calculation(how in depth it is, as many end games sometimes boil down to the difference of one move), experience( to recognise the pattern to checkmate) and skill( in using whatever pieces you have).

i think 1 important element that cannot be missed out is the Endgame Theory.

there are a lot of dead positions that we have to memorize. for example, like Rook vs Si Xiang Quan (to know whether can win or not), Knight & Two pawns vs Knight & Si Xiang Quan and others..

it helps to reduce the time required to spend on the board...and it makes our middle-game evaluation becomes more accurate.
