Thinking of posting a gerrymandering 101 thread. Not sure if im hardworking enough. On another note, no didnt vote, by the time i thought of it they announced the oh btw if u wanted to postal vote you needed to register in or before 2012 thing.

Old typo, doctors was supposed to be doctor's in my last post :P

Oh man I kept waiting for a GE13 thread to show up, had no idea people were talking about it here!

So, what did everyone do! Did anyone vote? Volunteer? Polling agent? Campaign?

I couldn't vote this time around :(

So I volunteered as a polling agent at the High Comm in London instead. And on Sunday our society here did a results viewing party. Atmosphere was great, then... you know what happened. Lol.

Yeah I voted...probably spent the equivalent of a cheap AirAsia ticket to get to the consulate in the next state but it was alright.

Oh btw, did they have indelible ink in London?

Nope, no indelible ink in London. In fact I think there was no indelible ink used in postal voting this time around, supposedly because the numbers were too small.

And the best illustration of gerrymandering, in one pic. Really drives home exactly how it impacts the distribution of seats, especially when you compare is to the popular vote share.
