Re: Singapore Scholarship 2012/2013

Re: Singapore Scholarship 2012/2013

Between Dentistry and Computing, honestly, I would choose Dentistry. I believe there must be a reason you choose to study Dentistry, such a hard subject, and you must have been really happy to even...

Re: Singapore Scholarship 2012/2013

Hmm... So the interviews are done? You don't normally ask your peers about how's their interviews before you go for yours, instead, you should ask your Seniors! I was waiting for people to ask me for...

Re: Singapore Scholarship 2012/2013

I'm not sure whether I'm confusing you guys, I think I should make it clear here:

1) You CAN accept the ADMISSION of NUS and NTU at the same time.
2) You CANNOT hold SS and ASEAN scholarship at...

Re: Singapore Scholarship 2012/2013

Actually I find your batch quite interesting this year. In my time SS Scholarship comes first compared to ASEAN. So if you ask me whether "there is a point" or not, I seriously don't know how to...

Re: Singapore Scholarship 2012/2013

By experience. Friends who got rejected by SS Scholarship interview get ASEAN, and those who got ASEAN don't get SS Scholarship. They are given from the same government, remember.

It differs...

Re: Singapore Scholarship 2012/2013

Hmm... I suppose it is best to get stuff endorsed first. You know, if you were shortlisted only 2 days before the event, you might not have time to endorse your stuff. Keeping a copy of endorsed...

Hello guys,

Always feels good to see the juniors so enthusiastic about applying for this scholarship! I'm Johnivan, Sugan's senior who applied after SPTM 2009. I seemed to be only active on Recom...

Re: Singapore Scholarship for Academic Year 2011/2012

Always remember that Singapore Scholarship's decision will override NUS's decision. However, I'm not sure about the case where you were offered something already. For my case, I DIDN'T apply directly...

Re: Singapore Scholarship for Academic Year 2011/2012

You should know where the place is right? You should get down at the Ampang LRT station, and its easy to walk from there. The building looks like a dungeon, so don't be surprised. Use the main...

Re: All About Admission Into NUS (2011/2012 Cohort)

Yup. So far not yet, because the modules are still copable. The good thing about having a second major in Maths with a primary major of Physics is that we can double count 2 Maths modules, which...

Re: All About Admission Into NUS (2011/2012 Cohort)

Generally, Science should be easier to get in. The minimum grade you should have, I suggest, is 3.67. Anything below that may be possible to get in by luck, but you will suffer throughout your study...

Re: All About Admission Into NUS (2011/2012 Cohort)

I can help you with this: If you applied both and got both, go for NUS instead of NTU.

NUS provides more general engineering courses. All these cover a wide scope and can be very helpful in your...

Re: Singapore Scholarship for Academic Year 2011/2012

I would suggest that you don't ask JPA to certify your certs. Last year some of us encountered problems because they said they will only endorse the last page for us, but not the certs. But just in...

Re: All About Admission Into NUS (2011/2012 Cohort)

In NUS, when you say "Hey, I'm in USP!", people will look at you and say, "wah.....".

Basically, before taking up USP, you need to ask yourself a few questions.

1. Do I like to do...

Re: Singapore Scholarship for Academic Year 2011/2012

Re: STPM Further Maths 2009

At the beginning, you'll start to look through the FMT paper questions and try to find the solution through notes online. Or sometimes, you looked through the papers, and you have no idea what is it...

Let's just post something about where we...

Re: All About Admission Into NUS (2010/2011 Cohort)

Re: All About Admission Into NUS (2010/2011 Cohort)

Seems like you all didn't get me: I'm saying that we can form a "ReCommers'" club in NUS...:)

Knowing that we are young adults of aged 19 and above, we should at least know how to dress...
