i hav no experience.. but i have a classmate who removed a large mole at her left-side of her cheek-far edge, near the ear- no side effects except that she received two consequences i guess. First, a scar was left behind-which i think is cool for a boy but not for a girl-. Secondly, for chinese, as u knw we all very pantang one.. so if cabut the mole sumtimes old people think that we are taking away our own luck.. so u better consult someone about ur mole b4 removing them!

Am not a professional here, but as far as I know mole removal surgery is a fairly minor operation with not much adverse effects. Of course sometimes in the news you might read some scary things like having clot, stroke etc, but those are really one-in-a-million incidents, and worrying about these things would be analogous to not going out everyday because of the risk of being hit by a car.

If you are advised to remove mole due to medical concerns of future malignancy, then it's best to heed the doctor's advice and go ahead.

I am not qualified to say more in this, so it's best to check it out with your doctors.

nah, your classmate should be doing great in aussie. and with her mole removed, she got back all her confidence, which is a good thing to her own.

to me facial mole removal is okay and necessary in some case, but not all. =)

haha, thx for the opinions and testimonies shared..i wan to remove two moles on my left cheek before i go to study. i've consulted a skin specialist, dermatologist, and a beautician, they said just a simple few minutes of treatment will do.. two choices, either by laser technique(which wil leave a scar), or by medication(which will take up a week for the mole to be completely removed)..but the beautician said medication method will not leave any scar. the spot will turn pinkish like new skin.. hmm.
