Hi senior, i got KBU AUSMAT as well. So basically here are my questions:

1. Comparing AUSMAT with A-level, which do u think is more difficult and more rushing? Or it is more or less the same as the new batch A-level in Intec is also studying for 1 and 1/2 year.

2. I heard something like AUSMAT is actually 50% based on assignment and 50% on examinations. Will it help us to score?

3. How many people are entering KBU AUSMAT for germany jpa normally?

4. Between those who got INTEC A-level n KBU AUSMAT, who do u think are the lucky ones?

5. What's the difference between AUSMAT n A-level qualification? Will it affect or restrict our option of engineering fields or university later on in germany?

6. Is there a need to prepare a broadband if i were to go to KBU?

Thank you for answering!! Very much appreciate it!

Oh well. UEM scholarship is 5 yeard career-bonded actually. I need not to worry about unemployment after I graduated. Next, UEM is offering us to KYUEM which is the top college for A level in Malaysia ( i guess, because many scholars are sent to study there eg. Maybank, Nasional Scholarship etc) I am sponsored to fly to top University (OXBRIDGE) if I am able to get the offer from the University or else maybe Imperial ( mostly in England) ? And they promised to give full sponsor (clothing, laptop, books, hostel) basically everything. And I am afraid of picking up a new language too. Tho I am not very good in English as well XDXD.

Hello there, I got the scholarship to study AUSMAT at KBU too!

Your questions are pretty much the questions I wanted to ask too. Hopefully a senior drops by to help us.

I'd like to add a few more questions though:

1. What subjects will we be taking for our AUSMAT? Can we choose them ourselves or will it be chosen for us?

2. Since AUSMAT is heavily based on assignments, is a laptop a must?

i'm jpa kbu batch 2012, currently doing AUSMAT.
1. for me i think is more or less the same. AUSMAT syllabus got abit less thing but u'll hav assignments to do. not tat much but sometimes could be a few subjects together in 1 week n last for a few week. abt rushing i think depends more on teacher rather than is ausmat or a lvl.

2. yup. 50% internal assessment n 50% external examinations (which is by australian council). would help too much also, because if ur internal marks is high but had low score during external (touchwood) internal marks still will be scaled down. consistency in marks n learning would be more helpful.

3. Normally 20jpa+2yayasan telekom m'sia (YTM). my year got 16jpa+1ytm, others probably rejected it ba...

4. i would say all r lucky!

5. for our year AUSMAT after watever test in germany can apply to all universities of applied science except for the unis in Baden-Wüttenberg (only for intec lo). but for ur batch, since the intec changes their policy i not sure abt them.

6. better if u hav one. there is still wifi, but quite slow (depends on ur room)

1. subjects are english as second language or dialect EALD, german, chemistry, physics, maths n specialist maths. nope, cannot choose, it's ady set

2. yes. for gaming also.hahahaha ur assignments should be typed n printed one...

hope i answered ur questions.
