we could definitely do so, but I think as of currently we have too few scholarship links yet, and also almost all of the scholarships are for SPM level. Once more members submit more links up, we can definitely do that...

On the price for breaking contract, I think we should never even bother to think of it. I, for one, would definitely vote for increasing it to RM1 million or something like that. I think that way we would be able to select those people who genuinely need the scholarships and as well provide loyalty to our country. If every scholar who has a mind of not wanting to serve the nation, then I think you don't deserve to be a national scholar.

Thailand has a bond of 20 years and if broken, they have to pay triple the price the government pays for it and I know that they stay loyal, so why Malaysians can't do that?

Bad news or good news, i dun know, but JPA has just changed the policy recently!!!
If you break the bond, you are not paying 160K only, that was the "good" or "bad" old day(depending on what you think!!)

The new policy is:
if you break the bond, you pay in FULL!!!
Just get theis info a month ago!!!

As far as I know, i don't think JPA has any scholarship on Psychology. Most of the scholarships are in engineering, medicine, pharmacy, bio tech, com sci, economics, international relations, accounting, architecture, law etc...

Mish, which courses and which country under JPA that you applied to?

You can also go to remag.recom.org , where we have an article on Pointers to Scholarship Interview. you can learn some tricks from there. It is an article that compiles advice from many ReCom members who are scholarship holders of various prestigious scholarships and are studying in many established universities.

As I pointed out in the Introduce yourself thread, ReCom is a good learning opportunities for all of us~! You read and write a lot and practice makes perfect and we learn together~!

Have you applied to any university or junior colleges in Singapore?

Feel free to bombard any question to ReCom~! Welcome to join ReCom family~!

I applied medicine at Australia under jpa. Maybe I can study medicine and then major in psychology?

I didn't apply any uni or jc at singapore. I'm facing financial prob so i must make sure I can get a scholarship b4 going thr. So far, I still can't find any scholarship which I can apply to study at Sg. As I know, I must at least STPM, A level or quivalent holder to go in d uni at sg. I can't as a spm leaver.
