The contract is to be civil servant.

However, when I graduate, that's a few years ago, our country does not have vacancy in civil service, and hence, none of those graduate from my batch, manage to get any job in civil service. So, that's why all of us are not able to get to join civil service.

Wow... that means you got a scholarship without bond.

Thanks for replying my post.

It's sad to see so many talents wasted without good utilisation.

The effects of sponsoring too much students... i think JPA should at least change it's requirements to working in Malaysia if there is no post for someone...

chenchow,

do you have to work in Malaysia then? Is your bond considered over?

Technically, my bond is over, as contractually, Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Awam (SPA) would need to call the students within 12 months of them reporting for duty after graduation.

I am working in Malaysia, although contractually, I do not need to. In fact, I do hope that one day, I will be able to join civil service, or at least Government-linked companies, to do my bits for the country, to repay the support by the government for my education. After all, it is the taxpayers' money that fund my education.

Chenchow, from the posts above, I can't find any words or sentences that make me know what is your job, since I have no idea about the corporation you are working with, basically, it wouldn't be hard to search for jobs since graduates from oversea universities are more preferable local graduates. Tell me about your experience of searching for a job since PSD had not work for you do upon graduation. I'm looking forward to listening to your sharing on your experience.

Hi Chenchow, this is a thread you open 3 years ago but I'm not sure whether you are still here.

One thing that really I'm interested is that, you started co-founded Recom.org in 2003 but you graduate in 2005. Means that you actually started it during your second year of undergraduate life?

I'm thinking of doing the same during my undergraduate life but would like to hear more from you on this. Mind to share the story more deeply?

Thanks chenchow!
